Hey guys selling off my Vario Op machine, it is in new condition as it has very little use on it 1200 OBO
Nice and shiny!
Surprising to me I've gotten more compliments on my Vario than my Sprayborg. I wouldn't have guessed that.
The Mytee is also shiny.
Surprising, the % of good encap guys to hwe guys on this board.Todd the master encapper, JUDD Master blender/pad maker, Kevin knows both methods, Fred, Jonathan cleans for Clint Eastwood, on & on.
Process of the future. No point fighting it. It just keeps getting better and better with improvements in chemistry and equipment.
I like VLM and yes I do believe it is becoming more and more popular and excepted, even by some die hard TM guys
Yeah it can be tough to get long time customers to switch from HWE to VLM, next time you get one of your old repeat customers that you have a good repor with offer to do one room free using VLM tell them your doing a test to see and compare if the VLM will stay cleaner longer or whatever you want to tell them. I'm sure some people will say yes just because they'd be getting a room cleaned for free and saving money if nothing else. People seem to like FREE. Then see what happens, they should most deffinately like the quicker dry times. But if you aren't good at it yet make sure to practice the method and play around with it some.I used to go to a local carpet place that sells and installs new carpet, they do tear outs too and bring those carpets back to the store and throw them in their dumpsters. I would dumpster dive and take pieces of dirty carpet home and experiment with them (ask 1st before you dumpster dive, LOL)
I post groom with a CRB. Looks exactly like HWE results. That's what I've found to be important to residential customers.
I have used hwe followed by encap to achieve results no single method can rival. One in particular comes to mind where it was a move in to a large industrial building. Asphalt parking lot with heavy traffic patterns in hallways. We did a hwe followed by encap. We were almost there, but not quite. Did encap again with a peroxide encap and results were fantastic. No more shadow areas down the middle of the hallways. Now we encap every 3 months and have done this account over 5 years.
I do the same thing.
Not getting the use out of it i thought i would, simply because it has no on board spray system
For me to employ VLM effectively and have it accepted by my customer I simply tell my them that I use a multi-stage process. In stage one we use a dryer method utilizing a precondition (encap with boosters if needed). In stage two we de-lint/de-hair and scrub the carpet. Then I say: "In 90% of cases this is all that's needed and it dries incredibly fast." If however there is an area that requires more attention we will take it to stage 3 and use our HWE system. To date, no one has protested or insisted on HWE only.
My favorite right now is the Vario with onboard spray system, I also have a 15 and 19 inch cimex and 2 chemstractors with onboard sprayers. The Vario, because it is more aggressive, seems to be tha fastest for open areas and is relatively easy to use.
Nice I like that Jonathan, hope you don't mind if i steal that from you
Sure. Go for it!
The new Vario with the onboad system is great. We still like our cymex and go back to it on certain jobs. But form most encap it is with the Vario.
I have a vario, but without the onboard spray system, Recently bought the New orbot Vibe and love that thing, Vario is collecting dust as i have no need for it anymore, anyone wants to buy it let me know
OK i still have that nice shinny Vario collecting dust sitting in an extra empty bedroom in my house, feel free to make an offer.
