I rented a Hoss once but there were so many reasons not to use it compared to the RX or 360XL that unless you do a deep discount only a newbie in the industry would appreciate it.
With the new carpet tefflon / brush head for the 360 XL you'll find the need to use two tools a thing of the past. I have been testing the new head on nearly every carpet job and love the agitation with a dryer more complete pick up. I've still got the powerful fluff factor on matted traffic lines but with the added benefit of better extraction and faster dry times. I never thought I'd be using bristles on a machine after 28 years using an RX-20 metal only ports to clean carpet.
I just ordered Teflon glides to put on my 360i brush head block. I've used it on residential with the the steel L glides does a good job but it can be a workout, and you have to be careful on transition areas and loose carpet.
FYI Teflon glides are so popular right now for brush head blocks there on back order. Adam told me a lot of that is probably because of our forum talking about it. Supplies should be in at end of this week.
where do u get the glides from..thanks
Here ya go.An assortment of glides: https://wandersproducts.com/shop/wand-parts/glide/
To fit the Rotovac wheel you'll have to call Rotovac. You can ask joe first but I don't know if he sales the ones that fit Rotovac brush wheels.
@Rotovac Is the $300.00 off offer on the 360XL still available? If so, until the end of the month?
Yes, however I doubt we will have stock if you wait.
