Continuing the discussion from Most Dramatic Picture:

I think we need them as our first inductee cuz no other company has put more guys into biz doing great work right off the bat.
I get confused with these no name avatars but I think this is the Robert that was just at my place getting some things. He'd just been to Rotovac - they helped him get into a new portable unit or something.
Robert was really talking them up.
Lookin at his work in the picture, and his van, and his knowledge and then learning he's only been at it a couple of years, I'm thinking to myself 'come on man, you don't get there that fast on your own.'
This is Rotovac's doings.
I've seen these new guys come outa nowhere and excel and they all have that in common - Rotovac.

Then right as Robert's leaving here comes Gary from Brothers. Same deal, a Rotovac guy. Only difference is he's been at it for like 30 years (not sure on that). But obviously tons of experience. I repaired his hose then he helped me change out his crusty trigger valve and as we worked he told me the same things,
"...I just go there when I have a problem... they always take good care of me."
I thought he used one of the wands I'd sold him mostly,
"oh yeah, we (his partner is his brother-in-law, another multi-year veteran and Rotovac user), we start off with the Westpak or your Ti wand especially the edges, but if it's bad we go to the Rotovac. Soon as they see my work it's like automatic... I got another customer gonna be calling me for several years."
That's what Gary said.
I don't always hear these things about a company, but it's rare I don't hear it about Rotovac.
Hall of Fame baby.

Don't forget to add me. I am a Rotovac guy. That is all any of my employees use and I use the Rotovac on 50% of jobs myself. Just this year I started using the Orbitec on about half my jobs but up until this year I was all Rotovac as well. But I am the only one in my company that uses the Orbitec everyone else is the Rotovac.

Me too- 100%. Only Rotovac in my van,no other wands. I sent my video to Jeff at Rotovac here in WA state. They are always helpful. Mike at service takes good care of my stuff.

100% Rotovac on residential except for a few delicate wool carpets, 80% of commercial steam cleaning.
We used to use RX20 and then switched to RDM, then back to RX20 with glides, then tried Rotovac 360 and never looked back. Gentle on carpet and seams, much lighter, fewer parts to break, and it seldom breaks.
Rotovac service is great, they always replace a faulty part, no questions asked when it's there fault as long as your honest with them.

We still use the RDM on some low nap commercial carpets, we will pre-agitate with the Cymex and run the RDM trigger continually on, with a RDM you never need a dry stroke.

Sure wish Rotovac would be a Contributing Supporter here on Honest Cleaner. So many of us here love the 360 and support them. Seems right for the to Support us. It would be a win win seeing 80% of the contributions go back to us.

I also need some info on the pads and bonnets that go with the driver. Anyone have info on that?

We bought the pad driver, but my production manager didn't think there was enough weight to be very effective. We still might buy a brush and try it for pre-agitation of pre-spray. We currently groom it in and I have to depend on my techs to do it aggressively when needed. As Steve Toburen says "make it easier to do it right than to do it wrong".

Actually, I do have a short video where I used brushes. Take a look. It was kind of sticky glue on the carpet after rugs removed. I used a lot of hot water and a lot of brushing

But, I'll definitely record some more to show how it works on heavy traffic

I do not have a rotary and the reason is because i always hear conflicting comments on swirl marks and not being able to get them out. I have never ruined any carpet due to my equipment and how it comes in contact with the carpet. I am a bit of a coward when it comes to using tools that can permanently distort carpet fiber. Also what is the best tool for grooming out the swirl marks. I am thinking CRB. Would you please give me your input on this subject. Thanks

There are no permanent marks. They are temporary like marks from furniture. Do they disappear when you clean carpet? No, they don't, but they disappear over time. Same with swirl pattern on carpet. By the way, most my customers like the pattern that Rotovac makes. In 10 years no complains about it

Probably not a good idea.
They know all about this place.
I've forwarded links, asked em Qs, tried to get them involved.
They'll come when they are ready.
The worst thing we can do is force them.

Best thing ya'll can do is let them know you're out there and you want them to support you cuz you're supporting them.
Do exactly like Mark did - cut right to the chase - when you call to order stuff or ask for help or whatever... that's your chance, your inalienable right to say HEY RV! how come ya'll aren't advertising on the HC?
If you bring it up then, that's real dollars speaking. They'll listen to that.
Just remind them that most of the advertising dollars they spend here comes right back to them in sales, guaranteed.
That's the Model we've created here.
Ask them where else they advertise where they get guaranteed results.
Ask em.
