Remember loosey goosy Bruce from above? This guy has close to 40 years experience. Forgotten more than most of us will ever know. He's been a Parker Parflex fan for years. Remember he sad,

"... By the way, the guys really like the new hose we just got from you. We’ll test it a few more weeks and if it still holds up we’ll buy more. Very loosey goosy."

Well, he just bought his first 200 footer of Cool Flex.

Haha. Joe, are there going to be stock options for this hose? Its a good investment...especially considering what "we" are used to paying at the big suppliers. It's almost free.

No stock options but if anybody wants to help me sell it I'll give to you at a discount.
But you gotta buy a quantity, like 2,000ft at a time.
You could probably sell it for over 2 bucks a foot, like suppliers will be selling Parker in the years to come.

Let's get it right Joe '47' years of experience going on 48! Us old guys have to stick together. The guys can't wait for the blue hose to get here... They keep pulling the " loosey goosy" one off the reel while the Parker Parflex just sits on the other. So far so good, can't find anything to gripe about.

a few weeks later...

Hi Joe,
So far we love the Cool Flex hose and it seems to be getting better and better the more we break them in. At first our only complaint was that the outside of the hose was too grippy and it stuck to itself and tangled up when we were trying to reel it up. But in a couple weeks that pretty much went away completely. They are by far the easiest hose to maneuver that we have ever used. Just ordered another 100 feet of it.

Roughly a 3 month update on the condition of this new cool-flex hose. This hose is still in new condition. I mean even the markings are still clear as day. I completed a huge commercial job yesterday that consisted of 4 columns of stairs, each column had 6 stories (or flights) of steps (6 up...landing, turn and up 6 more for each flight) and 10 condo hallways approximatley 125ft X 7ft , This hose had the perfect amount of "spring" to it and "slippery" feel to it that made it easy to control, the solution hose fell down the stairs as fast as the vacuum hose did! it didn't have an "abrasive" feel to it when I was carefully pulling it around what felt like thousands of corners which was nice, and it made those stair cases not suck as bad as I remember. This is the hose you have to try!

Just want to say I’m a spaz with the gator crimps but I did get them to work on the paraflex!

We all are spaz with gators at first.
Just do a couple then a couple more and your 5th time you're a pro.
Use the 3/8" drill method if you're having trouble getting the outer sleeve started.
For Parker I don't strip the hose. I let the outer sleeve cut a groove then , then I remove the sleeve ad pull the tag end of the grove, creating a nice channel for the threads.
Big key is to mark 7/8" and go at least that far onto the hose.
Sounds harder than it is.
Just takes a little practice.

Joe’s the bomb listening to us old cleaners and researching a replacement to parflex.
Looking forward to,using my new custom 175’ cool flex he was so good in making.
Right off the bat it feels lighter and smoother than the Goodyear hoses everyone sells.
