Question from Paul
How does this (Cool Flex) compare with the standard steel braided hose?
Ans. Most of what follows I've already stated in this same thread.
You guys need to do a little reading before you ask questions.
Ans. Lighter. More flexible. Retains heat better, Similar bend radius, a little fatter, lower heat & temp rating but plenty good enough for carpet cleaning with a truckmount.
Would it stand up to abuse?
Ans. So far it is, but still very new. It does have the same outer jacket as my High Heat has and this hose is a proven winner. Personally, I like how slick this hose is right out of the box. I don't think there will be much of a break in period. Much better handling than Parker.
Would it be good for Montana climate? Probably better than steelbraid since there is no steel braid to get cold and freeze. Anxious to get some into colder regions to see what guys think.
So far this hose is just sitting around. Very little interest cuz cleaners don't endorse it - yet.
Here I am an expert in hose, saying this stuff is good hose, nobody listens. But the first cleaner to talk, everybody will believe him. Go figure. I predict in a year or two this will be a top selling hose, for sure it will be more popular than Parker Parflex, close behind my High Heat. But that's just me talking. What does he know ... He's just a salesman. Right.
