so i'm a new guy, working to build the biz part time while i am still full time at my "real" job.
I started in aug of 15.
I have some commercial contracts that are about 11k/year of recurring work, and i'm trying to build the residential side through website / referrals / modest FB and adwords campaigns.
My target for 2016 revenue is still modest, as i will still work at my regular job most likely the entire year.
Here is my plan:
2015 Revenue: $6,000
2016 Revenue Goal: $30,000
Annual FB budget: $720
Annual Adwords: $2,280
Targeted Mailings $250 (not EDDM, letters/flyers to specific targets, mostly commercial)
Yard Signs and Permits $400
Var. Local promos, sponsorships: $500
Perc. of revenue 13.8%
My goal would be to increase revenue to $60k in 2017 on a $5k ad budget, or 8%, and keep the advertising at about that rate and grow revenue to 120k-150k in years 18, 19.
Once i hit the revenue target, i likely will cut ads to 5% and focus on repeats, referrals.
Who else would like to share?
- 2016 rev target
- 2016 advertisign budget, and where it will be spent.
Looking forward to some contributions from some of the vets!
